Traditional Acupuncture
We offer traditional acupuncture. This means that, by treating the underlying cause, pain and other symptoms should naturally resolve themselves. Traditional acupuncture has the potential to address a wide range of problems.
Barbara has been in practise for thirty years. She has trained at the college of Traditional Five Element Acupuncture in Lemington Spa, and had the good fortune to spend ten years as a student of Jack Worsley, the founder of the college and foremost practitioner of Five Element Acupuncture. She later studied Theoretical and Clinical Integration of Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) with John and Angela Hicks.
Barbara Richter M.Ac M.B.Ac.C has been practising traditional acupuncture since 1981. Barbara is also a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council

What is Herbal Medicine used for?
Herbal medicines can be used as an alternative to mainstream medicine or as a complementary to existing medical treatment. Herbal medicine can be used to treat many conditions, such as:

What can you tell me about the herbs?
Herbs can be used in many forms, including teas, tinctures, syrups, creams, ointments and more. Most commonly used these days are tinctures, which are usually alcohol or glycerine based.
Sharon Dean BSc MNIMH qualified with a degree in Herbal Medicine from the college of Phytotherapy in 2003.
