We take foot health seriously

The Podiatry Clinic is run by Susanna Lindsey, who has 20 years' experience in both NHS and private practice. She is HPC registered, which is the regulatory body that superseded the state registration system.

At Health Focus we take foot health very seriously. During the first appointment, a full vascular and neurological assessment is made by the podiatrist in order to determine the overall foot health of the patient. This is important to allow early detection of silent problems, such as peripheral vascular disease.

Diabetes is an increasingly common condition and the monitoring of foot health provides a means to detect and monitor ongoing problems associated with diabetes. 

Following the assessment, appropriate treatment will be given in the first appointment.

The Nail Clinic

The nail clinic is a cost effective service for people who find cutting their own nails problematic, which may be due to thickening or hardening or simply because people have difficulty reaching their nails.

The clinic is run by Taryn Mullins who is the Podiatry Assistant working under close supervision of the podiatrist. Patients will be referred to the nail clinic if the assessment carried out by the podiatrist at their first appointment indicates it is required and appropriate. This will depend on the patient's general health, medication and, specifically, circulation. Whatever the reason, call in and discuss your needs with Susanna or Taryn.

Your first podiatry visit with assessment and 40 minute treatment is only £27.

Foot care is available on a Wednesday & Thursday.
